Emy Lia, born on May 27, 1986, in Baku, Azerbaijan, is a distinguished pop singer and the 2015/2016 Voice of Azerbaijan winner. She joined the "Rast" group in 2011, led by Rashad Hashimov, after Eurovision National Selection participation. In 2014, Emy showcased her talent at Switzerland's "Montreux Jazz Festival." Her global recognition peaked in 2018, winning the "Discover Silk Road Star" festival in Batumi, Georgia. Since her 2019 marriage, Emy resides in London. She's one of six candidates for Azerbaijan's representation in the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest.
