With family ties to Suffolk, England he’s no stranger to the British (and Irish) punk & new wave influences (i.e. The Cure, Fontaines D.C. and IDLES). Although his UK predecessors have proven to be a great source of inspiration, it was only until his move to Amsterdam that he realised how emotionally closed off the Brits sometimes actually can be.
