Babs the Original is a spoken word poet and singer born and raised in South East London. His journey has lead him to experiment with a sound that has a composition of contemporary RnB, Trap Soul, Hip Hop undertones with an imagery of spoken word. At age 20, he experienced his definition of poetry when he was introduced to Black Ice, Natalie Stewart of Floetry and Def Poetry Jams. As he learned, he developed his skills as a writer privately.
