Kitchen Knives officially began in the bathroom of The Chimes in Covington, Louisiana on December 31st, 2019, when Ben Mitchell wrote an idea for a multi-genre side project in his notes app. The project would soon be left behind during the chaos of 2020. However, after finding a real interest in playing guitar, Ben began to write riffs that would eventually become part of the Kitchen Knives we all know today.
