Roby Texeira, born on July 5, 1995, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, trumpeter and arranger in the salsa and tropical music scene. Influenced by my father, leader of the plena group @plenerosdelbarrio, I began my musical training at the Juan Morel Campos Institute of Music, where I specialized in trumpet after not being able to study saxophone. I continued my studies at the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico, obtaining a bachelor's degree in Music with a concentration in Jazz and Caribbean Music.
