Emmi U. Quintet (Finland) is a modern jazz ensemble lead by pianist and composer, Emmi Karoliina Uimonen. Emmi U. Quintet consists of rising talents of the current Finnish scene of jazz and new music. The compositions of Uimonen are influenced by classical impressionism and the long, melancholic melodies of Nordic folk music.
