Juhan Ongbrian began his musical journey as a child in his native Indonesia. He studied piano and violin but soon grew bored with the strict discipline of classical music. At the age of thirteen, he moved with his family to Singapore. There he became obsessed with guitar, playing at all times of day and night. Juhan and his friends formed a rock & roll cover band and he continued to play throughout middle and high school. College brought Juhan to the American music mecca of Seattle, Washington.
