Halston Aka Dillon Newell is a emcee that comes from Syracuse, NY. Growing up on the SouthSide of Syracuse with Jamaican/African- American heritage wasn’t always easy. “Growing up I seen a lot from drug dealing, murder, drug use, prostitution, alcohol abuse you name it.” However, Dillon wasn’t going to stop there after leaving Syracuse and doing a Four year stint in the military. Dillon decided it was now time to put his talents and experience to good use and start up not only his music career but also his own music label, Greenback Records.
