Dinamic trombonist Dani Alonso is one of the musical symbols of Swing and Traditional Jazz in Barcelona. Disciple of master trombone players Lucien Barbarin and Gene “Mighty Flea” Conners, he developed his talents in New Orleans, where he learned and played with musicians as Leroy Jones, Tuba Fats, Shannon Powell, and Freddy Lonzo. Since 2006, he is the conductor of the Barcelona Jazz Orquestra, one of the best bands in Europe.
