Omid Abtahi, a permanent member of "The Iranian Association of Film Score Composers" and also a member of "Iran Music House," is an Iranian composer-pedagogue, born in 1972 in Iran, currently living in Georgia. He studied music at the "Iran Music Conservatory" (1988-1992) and took cello lessons with Professor Mohsen Toyserkani. He continued his education at "Iran Azad University." He benefitted from some great Iranian composers such as Kambiz Roshanravan, Sharif Lotfi, Farhad Fakhreddini, Fereydoun Naseri, Fereydoun Shahbazian, Asadollah Malek, and Mohammad Andalibi.
