They were Organized Confusion, then changed to End Result, an executive's wife at Fantasy Records christened them Paradise Express, a name she plucked from a television show. Contractually, they were keyboardist Herb Jimmerson, and his wife, Vi-Ann, a blues & ballad singer, other musicians augmented their sessions and gigs.
