Erik Ørum von Spreckelsen is a classical composer and jazz pianist from Copenhagen, Denmark. He is an associated professor in composition and piano at The Danish National Academy of Music. Amongst his works as a composer are 2 operas, many works for chamber orchestra and pieces for soloists and small groups. He has also written for big bands, e.g The Danish radio big band and The Belgium radio big band and composed and arranged for The Danish national chamber orchestra.
