Singer, songwriter and composer Sikavi Lauress, whose real name is Blama Essenamlor, was born on August 14, 1996 in Lomé, Togo. As a child, she sang with Les CVAV, a Catholic group from Lomé, and spent her youth singing in choirs. She joined the group Les Tach Noires as a backing singer, and ended up proposing a text to them, which led to a featuring in 2014, for the track "Nonéné". The artist was thus propelled to the forefront of the music scene and joined the group's stable, Mafia Music.
