Born and bred in Middlesbrough on the North East Coast of England ,now based in the historic fishing town of Whitby on the Yorkshire Coast. Richard Grainger has become well known for his many songs inspired by his region. There is much more to discover in his music . His songs were first recorded by The Teesside Fettlers and have since been performed by many others including Derek Gifford , Dick Miles , Flossie Mallavialle, Monkeys Fist, The Wilson Family and most recently MEGSON.
