Ensamble B11's innovative style has breathed new life into Afro-Venezuelan percussion by incorporating beatbox – a cadre of human percussion articulators, a harmoniously hydra-headed vocal drum and bass section, producing the inter-flowing ingredients, through breath, for organic grooves that drive the multi-layered singing from the four-woman choir in a repertoire embodying the syncretism that distinguishes the musicality of the Venezuelan Caribbean.
