Benjamin Fletcher was born in Australia. Growing up in a beachside suburb of Sydney Benjamin left high school to become a founding member of rock and roll band Bluebottle Kiss. Benjamin played bass and guitar on 5 Bluebottle Kiss albums & 5 Ep's. Bluebottle Kiss toured throughout Australia, the USA and the UK. Benjamin started his own band The Devoted Few, as songwriter and vocalist, in January 2001. The band released 3 full-length albums. The Devoted Few toured extensively around Australia.
