Karm is reed player Michal Wróblewski from Prague and Berlin-based guitarist Torsten Papenheim. With a purely acoustic setup Karm creates sonic spaces way beyond the familiar sounds of their instruments. Playing together in their own strict idiom, the duo focuses on subtle developments and noisy – but quiet – structures. In Estonian Karm means rough or strict – the music of this Czech-German-duo is both.
