Mopao Swahili Jazz is a Tanzanian Band fusing contemporary Jazz with local Tanzanian melodies and rhythms. Kalamu, Swahili for pen, is the first digital release in a series that will result in an album of the same name. Based in Dar es Salaam, the group features the guitar skills of Emma 'Mopao' and has performed at many local venues and the world renowned Sauti Za Busara Festival in Zanzibar.
