The rock duo of Bass Battery features Norwood Cheek (bass, vocals) and Rob Ladd (drums). The two originally met when their high school bands played together in Chapel Hill, NC. Ladd then moved to Los Angeles and became a sought after drummer - playing on Alanis Morrisette's Jagged Little Pill and touring with Don Henley, Susanna Hoffs, and many others. Cheek also moved to LA to pursue filmmaking and continued to write and record music. Years later the two found themselves back in Chapel Hill and decided it was time to start a band.
