Soap is a four piece indie rock band formed by Charles Franta and Quinn Shumway in mid 2019. Soap's sophomore album "Extras” was released last year. The record was cheaply home recorded and was heavily inspired by Folk music and Alternative Country which is a direction conscientiously opposed by the bands upcoming material. Soap is based in Salt Lake City, Utah dead center of a (once) thriving indie scene along with bands like Blue Rain Boots, The Backseat Lovers, and Ritt Momney.
