JAYNE started as a lot of singer songwriter’s do, singing softly in dark corners of open mics with deliberate emotional intensity and the small hope that someone would be moved into silent tears (please DM Jayne if this was you). Rooted in York’s artistic scene, JAYNE soon realised that she did not neatly fit the mould of the ethereal folk songstress and began to explore other genres.
