Born on Friday the 13th in San Francisco CA, Alana’s free lovin’ spirit was seeded by the Motown, folk, and rock & roll from her dad’s day’s of fringed vests and platform shoes. As a teenager, Alana followed her mama’s footsteps in musical theater, but didn’t find her calling to music until budget cuts propelled her into a nomadic lifestyle, spanning from Zimbabwe to Hawai'i.
