United in a shared admiration of Nick Cave, The Velvet Underground, Billy Childish and The Pretenders, NYC’s Leathered were founded in 2010 by singer and guitarist Amanda B. Jun as a project for the scraps of riffs and songs she’d developed over the years. The band’s warmly received debut album, Restless (released under their former moniker, Crazy Pills, by attention space cadets), was produced by Psychic TV’s Jeff Berner.
