In 2020, GVY, a singer-songwriter hailing from Brisbane introduced us to an old soul, R’n’B groove with his debut single ‘Fallout’, and a sultry pop-leaning tune, ‘For You’. Now in 2021, he returns with the alt-pop reflection, ‘Barriers’. Written in between the moments of self-doubt, ‘Barriers’ captured the moments of feeling totally golden; assured in where you’ve come from, and where you’re going to.
