Sheriff Mohammed Yakubu Aka Sheriff Keita who hails from Tumu in the Upper West Region was born in 7th August in Kumasi. He had his basic and primary education at ST Cyprians Anglican School at Kumasi and then continued at Navrogo Sec School, for his secondary education. He has lived in Kumasi since birth and that was when he realized the singing potential in himself.
