[EN] Otis Selimane is a Mozambican drummer, singer, composer, and educator who began his musical journey at age 7 and became a professional musician by 14. Since moving to Brazil in 2015, he has focused on artistic and educational projects centered on African culture, notably through initiatives like Músicas de Mbira and The Otis Project, which released the album TUMBULUKU in 2021. In 2018, he won the New Jazz Talents award, participating in major jazz festivals across Brazil. Otis has toured Europe, playing at renowned festivals.
