Taking their diverse influence from the likes of The Stranglers, Dead Kennedys and Gang Of Four are Malmö, Sweden's Dipper. Having gotten together in 1994, Joachim Leksell (vocals), Harri Kolari (bass), Patrik Malmros (drums) and Magnus Karlsson (guitar) grew fed up of the disco pop and black metal that was surrounding their scene. Resulting in a three chord package of punk rock distortion, Vibrafon Records debuted this sound in 1996 on Dippers first single "Butterfinger."
