The official mascot of the 2025 World Ski Championships in Trondheim – The mascot is a snowbird. We started playing around with the word. It’s often wet and cold, so snow was naturally included. The name contains the word "sne" (snow). It also includes the expression "snedig," which is widely used in Trøndelag. "Snedig" can mean clever, innovative, or creative, which are great qualities for a climate-conscious mascot.
