ISAI is a Mexican-American born in Chula Vista and raised in Lemon Grove, CA. It’s probably assumed that his parents ate tacos after his birth because Tacos El Gordo is in that same city. We’ll never know. ISAI has developed his sound through collaborations and experience in Los Angeles. He is now releasing self-produced/self-written solo material shaped by his life. The music is narrative based, emotional and meticulous. Some have said it’s best enjoyed while eating a California burrito and drinking horchata. We’ll never know.
