Sobre Língua de Trapo
Língua de Trapo started as a band devoted to ironic humor with a blend of Brazilian and international pop music. Their biggest commercial hit was the brega "Os Metaleiros Também Amam" (Carlos Melo/Aírton Mugnaini Jr.), presented in 1985 at the Festival dos Festivais. The band was formed in 1979 as Laert Sarrumor e Os Cúmplices, changing their name in 1980. Their first album, Língua de trapo, was recorded in 1982.
