Scottish band The Zephyrs release their 6th album, "For Sapphire Needle", in January 2023, their first in 13 years. Singles Leatherback and Blue in the Face precede the release. Alongside a further two EPs and a single this discography continues in their psychedelic, shoegazing folk-rock style. The Zephyrs’ first album, "It's Not OK To Day Anything" (1999), was released by a tiny label from Edinburgh and limited to 700 copies. In 2000, their friends from Mogwai signed them to their Rock Action roster of bands from Glasgow. It took Southpaw in 2001 to issue their LP, "When The Sky Come...
