Renowned jazz and funk trumpeter Sefi Zisling began his musical journey at age ten, honing his skills at Thelma Yellin School of Arts. Since his early teens, he's been a member of various bands, collaborating and recording extensively. His debut album, ‘Beyond The Thing I Know’, released on Raw Tapes, propelled him onto the global stage. Finding his creative niche on Tru Thoughts, Sefi's sophomore record, ‘Expanse’, showcased his transition from instrumentalist to composer, fusing afro-jazz, psychedelic funk, and spiritual jazz - a nod to influences like John Coltrane and Fela Kuti...
