2014 seemed like an average year for Jake Newton and Steven Solomon. Jake was bartending at a local music venue while putting all his spare energy into his own artist career. Steve was trying to find his footing in writing and producing music for other artists. The two met on a blind writing session, wrote "The Wreck Of Our Hearts," and thus began a lifelong friendship and a new musical adventure.
