b. Lucien Dixon, Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies. Dixon was educated in the Jamaican capital where he attended the St. Peter Claver Primary School and Wolmer Boys School. The DJ first came to prominence in 1996 when he joined Main Street Crew who released ‘Freezer’, a cut that utilised the rhythm to Goofy’s ground-breaking hit ‘Fudgie’. In 1999, Goofy was instrumental in furthering Dixon’s career when, through his own Young Blood production company, he produced the aspiring DJ’s breakthrough hit, ‘Wha Dis Fadda’.
