Farhad Mehrad (Tehran,1944 - Paris,2002) At the age of 17, Farhad began playing guitar and piano, and singing with an Iranian Armenian band. In 1967, he joined the Black Cats, and stayed with the band as a musician and singer until 1970. By this time, "With a Little Bit of Luck" from the musical "My Fair Lady" was Farhad's only recorded work in Persian. Over the next 9 years, 1970-1979, he recorded 13 songs in Persian.
