TRU-G was born and raised in the state of Louisiana, in the city of Baton Rouge. Better known to other artists in the game as Jiggacity, and the B.R. He has been rapping since he was 14yrs old and started his own record label along with his mother in 2001 called T.A.L.I. Entertainment, which stands for “Thuggin’ And Lovin’ It”.
