Malummí’s music casts a spell, fierce and blissful all at once. The Basel-based trio first emerged with Blood (2021), an intimate debut blending indie, electronica, and folk with raw emotion and vulnerability. In November 2023, they released The Universe Is Black (Irascible Records), a bold dive into grunge-tinged alternative rock and warm indie folk. The album was named Album of the Week on Swiss National Radio SRF3, featured on KEXP’s Sound & Vision podcast, and won Album of the Year from IndieSuisse.
