Born in Anchorage Alaska, raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Sevell is an American singer and songwriter who combines the modern, new age feels of r&b, neo-soul, and hiphop with some elements of pop, funk and soul of the 90's. Sevell has been immersed in music since a very young age as a member of the school choir and youth church choir. By the time he reached high school he had competed in vocal competitions around St. Louis including the National Talent Search Competition and American Idol.
