Born in Brownsville, Brooklyn, New York, D-Lo G found his love for music at an early age, writing his first song when he was only 9. After moving to Atlanta in his teens, D-Lo G dabbled in music over the years, never taking it too seriously. During the COVID-19 quarantine, the now Southern influenced New York rapper decided to lock in at the studio and make rapping a career.
