irenepop is a Norwegian singer/songwriter/guitarist, born and raised in Kristiansand. In K-town she formed the critically acclaimed Kitty F band with fellow musician Agnete Amlie. The duo played acoustic pop songs, early on being an opening act for St. Thomas and his Emily Lang. Their song Halo was recorded as the bands contribution on the compilation Stiff Nipples volume 2. Halo was recorded by Knut Schreiner and Anders Møller of Euroboys. The duo released a self financed EP PS Pop Suspicion before they went quiet.
