Asmodi Bizarr, a rock band from Düsseldorf, Germany, was founded in 1980 by singer Monique Maasen and bassist Andy Wahl. Their first release, "Sator", appeared on the sampler Pesthauch des Dschungels in 1983. The group's debut album, Sunsierra, was released in 1986 under Ata-Tak’s sublabel Das Büro. Throughout the 1980s, Asmodi Bizarr performed at various festivals and toured with bands such as Sex Gang Children and The Southern Death Cult.
