George Emanuel Lewis is a prolific, world-renowned composer, trombonist, electronicist, and educator. He has been closely associated with the musical vanguard since joining the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM) at age 19. His musical interests and recordings are boundlessly diverse, and his compositions have been performed by orchestras across the globe.
