Paper Grenades are an all-female rock band from Cambridge, making waves with their unique blend of live guitar-based indie rock. The band gained recognition in 2022, winning the Under 18 Audience Choice Award at the Cambridge Band Competition. Their big local following was secured with a string of appearances at small venues. The nomination of ‘Toxic Friend’ for the Kimberley Rew Songwriting Award opened the gate for airplay and radio and newspaper interviews - in particular with Cambridge 105 and BBC Music Introducing.
