Pretty Cryers is a femme punk rock band from Long Island, New York. The project was founded by lead singer and songwriter Adea Frances Guldi during the height of the pandemic in 2020. Adea is a multi-disciplined artist, performer, and painter with an MFA in Performance Art. Having just begun her path as a musician, she was shortly joined by Andraleia Buch – Berklee-educated bassist, and composer. Together, they channel a 90’s rock / punk style into something modern, gritty and powerful. Adea’s lyrics encompass topics from queer femme anthems to unapologetic representations of trauma.
