Swim Silky - is a self-made artist of English-Welsh Decent. Her interest in music began whilst attending church with her parents. She became particularly interested with the post-rock ambient instrumental music used in the services to induce sobriety one minute, and ecstasy the next. Her influences growing up include Alanis Morisette, Greenday, Keane and Coldplay. At school she formed a band with her friends, and the group joined Kate Nash on tour as part of her: Rock 'n' Roll for Girls After School Music Club.
