I started songwriting when I was 18 after my best friend suggested I try it out (yes, Jasmin*, I know you came up with the idea first and I didn't listen). Now, I can't imagine not writing, coming up with melodies and maxing out my phone storage with voice recordings. Music is how I express myself and figure out how I feel (which I am terrible at).
