“Varia” (pronounced “vair-ee-ah”) is a Melodic Metalcore band from Virginia, USA. Known for their ambient soundscapes, polyrhythmic breakdowns and singer Patrick Ryan’s high tenor range, their lyrics often touch base on self-reflection, emotional trauma and overcoming adversity. Beginning in 2018, they have self-released one EP (2018’s “In Time We All Unravel”) and one full length (2022’s “Awakened by the Setting Sun”) before partnering with EMPIRE/GT Digital for distribution of their latest record, “The Changing of Tides” (released March 28th, 2025).
