Pale Stranger is the dreamy alter ego of @Seas of Mirth founder Paul Lynch. Created during the lockdowns of 2020 and 2021 and featuring a range of female vocalists, the Leicester born guitarist and producer started making field recordings and obsessing over the soundtracks to the 80s manga classics that formed his childhood. The resulting project is an intriguing mix of the two. Grainy samples sit on top of complex synth vignettes that seek to find something real amid the noise in a digitised world.
