Big Burn, born Matthew Murnan in Nebraska City, NE in 1985, gravitated towards Hip-Hop in his early teens. He was drawn to artists who possessed intricate lyricism such as Eminem and Tech N9ne. Within a couple years after moving to Omaha for college in 2004, he started rapping for fun. After years of honing his craft, he recorded his debut album, Invidious, with local Music Video Director, Aaron Gum. It was released on November 14th, 2013 and featured Surreal the MC .
