Lag Season is indie folk music created by Michael Hughes Watson with collaboration and co-production by Micah Bartel. The name is inspired by the astronomical phenomena when the temperature of the planet is delayed from the maximum exposure to the sun… so uh, basically, the hottest day in summer comes a few months after the sunniest day. “It’s a nice metaphor for a lot of things going on in my life right now.” Michael explains, “Things take time.
